Quickie & Coffee- What We Tell Ourselves About Ourselves

We tend to focus a great deal on our communications with other people- and those communications are worthy of our focus for obvious reasons.  How we communicate dictates how we relate and how we relate determines the content and quality of our daily interactions.  But what about how we communicate with ourselves?  Are we focusing enough on our INTERNAL dialogue?  What would you say to yourself if you spoke into a mirror?

While it is exceedingly important to be starkly honest in our self assessment it is equally important to remember to

SAY GOOD THINGS TO YOURSELF ABOUT YOURSELF BECAUSE THE SEEDS YOU PLANT IN YOUR MIND WILL GROW IN YOUR SPIRIT

It is an easy thing to overlook but we do so at our own peril.  That, my friends, is the seed of all success.  What we say to ourselves about ourselves is our starting point and it can be either a tremendous advantage or a heavy burden.  Every expert, guru, head-shrinker, TV doctor or pastor will tell you the same thing and for once, they are all 100% correct.  But I am not selling you anything.  I am just a man trying to make the most of his life and every component of it just like you are, so coming from me in this space maybe it will reach your heart the right way and this time it will stick.  Godspeed.

∞ Thanks for checking in-  Do your thing today and I’ll see you tomorrow  π
