Quickie & Coffee- There Is Room 4 You

I have always looked at anyone who parrots the phrase “It’s lonely at the top” as a complete jackass.  First the statement is self-congratulatory which is the first personality trait taught in Jackass School.  “Look At How Well I’ve Done 101” I believe is the official course title.

Second, the statement implies that the speaker has actually been to “the top” so they can tell you all about it.  If they’ve been to the top, what the hell are they doing down here with the mere mortals reporting what’s going on up there in paradise?  And third, if you have been to “the top” then you need to dig the fact that nobody who hasn’t gives a damn about your little hurt feelings because you are “lonely.”  On behalf of all of our like-minded, good-hearted  readers, I’m calling bullsh*t on “It’s lonely at the top” for good.

But my view is that there is something positive to be found just about everywhere- even in that jive line.  So here’s the positivity:

IF ITS LONELY AT THE TOP, THAT MUST MEAN THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM  LEFT UP THERE FOR YOU

And then maybe it won’t be so lonely up there for our friend who was so sad to be all by himself.  But seriously, don’t believe the hype that success breeds sadness and solitude.  You will only get that out of any success you are blessed with if that is who you were in the fist place.  Trust me, you can share the blessing of your success and enjoy it without all the posturing.

Here’s to hoping you enjoy your journey to the top and that you have even more fun when you get there.

∞ Thanks 4 checking in-  Do your thing 2day & I’ll see you 2morrow  π
