Midday Quickie – Hurts So Good

Unless you are talking about how much Tequila you want to drink at happy hour this afternoon (or for some of y’all at lunch time on Friday), just a little bit is almost never enough to really do the job.

If you want to feel the impact or the affect of whatever you are doing, you have to do it hard, go all out, and do it right.  

If you do things in a “just a little bit” way, you probably won’t get anything out of it beyond the right to say that you did it.  And that really isn’t too valuable because we all know that talk is cheap.  So work out until it hurts so that you are sore tomorrow- not just enough to say you worked out.  Make sure you can feel it so you get something out of the time you put in.

Love your family and friends in such a way that they greet every day knowing that because of you they will probably laugh AND cry from the joy you share. Kick ass at work so that your mastery is evident and justifies anything and everything you want from your gig.  You will be amazed at how far it can take you.

That’s a great way to live and love, my friends.  So whatever your thing is, do it until hurts- and make it hurt so good that you wouldn’t want it any other way.  I promise you that the results will keep you coming back.  So have a great weekend- and start with a Tequila on me.
